I Code, Therefore I Am

The first principle of Decartes' outlook on life and existence is the phrase "I think, therefore I am" (or "cogito, ergo sum" in the Latin). In other words, mere thought (and awareness of such) proves that we truly exist. It's philosophical, I know.

After two decades of experience in tech, I would like to claim "codico, ergo sum" or "I code, therefore I am".

It's a clever way to express that the act of creating, building, and problem-solving through code is fundamental to your identity, much like Descartes found thought essential to existence.

In fact, I like it so much that I decided to slap the phrase on a T-shirt.
